California's in trouble and the State needs jobs. But one of the largest job makers among business sectors, the Small Business segment is getting strangled as Entrepreneurs are often made to jump through a nauseating amount of hoops in order to set up shop in the state. Governator Schwarzenegger has finally woken up to the problem after 7 years in office, when one of his favorite haunts, The Salad Bowl, almost cancelled plans to open 20+ shops in California after having had to bear the brunt of California's infamous Red tape. With his term running out early next year, Schwarzenegger does not have the luxury of time on his side and neither does the state of California.
In this video, Schwarzenegger talks about how the issue came to his attention and the resulting successful launch of The Salad Bowl. Lets hope this continues and conditions improve enough to entice all those Entrepreneurs who fled the state, to expand their operations into California soon.
