An emotional goodbye to the repatriated A4s 60008 'Dwight D Eisenhower' and 4489 'Dominion Of Canada' before they return to North America and Canada on 21st April 2014 at Locomotion: The National Railway Museum At Shildon. The two engines arrived back in Britain 18 months ago, looking shabby and neglected. Now look at them: bright, glamorous and back at their birthplace. But the Americans and Canadians need the A4s to showcase international railways in their museums, and not everyone could get over to Britain to see them if they were to remain here. This was tough for lots of rail enthusiasts. They've only been home for a short while but now they have to leave. We have 4 already keeping the nostalgia alive, and that's all WE really need. Farewell 'Dwight' and 'Dominion'. The A4s left Shildon on 21st April 2014. I hope you all enjoy the video. Feel free to comment and subscribe!
