On Tuesday 12th August 2014, i paid a visit to the often overlooked Saltburn Miniature Railway in Saltburn-By-The-Sea. This 15" gauge tourist railway is only half-a-mile long but still manages to hold a charm of its own. Trains normally run on weekends between April and September but also run daily during the school summer holidays (Weather Permitting). Diesel/Electric 4-6-2 'Prince Charles' from 1952 is normally the regular motive power. She is seen here beginning at Forest Halt at the western end of the line, and running alongside Skelton Beck to the sea front at Cat Nab Station. The 4-6-2 then runs around and shortly departs back up the line. I hope you all enjoy the video. Be sure to take a look at this little gem when nearby. Feel free to comment and subscribe!
